Porta Head X3
Handheld 3-axis brushless gimbal with magnetic encoders for the stabilization of cameras like Alexa Mini, Red Epic, Canon C300, Sony F series or other cameras with a weight up to 7 kg. DSLR size cameras or lighter are also possible.
Porta Head X2
The Portahead X2 is a 2-axis head for cameras up to 10 kg like the Arri Alexa or Amira, Sony F series or Red to be used with a steadicam system as portable device. It allows to change the camera height during the shot by rotating the system sideways. Depending on the steadicam system used the camera can be moved from ground level to about 2 meters height and anywhere between. It might also be used to fly cameras above tables or other objects. It's a two axis system with stabilized motors for roll and tilt. Compared to one axis systems with stabilized roll only it has the advantage to prevent unintended camera movements when the rig is horizontal and inertia for tilt is low. The motors are set to follow mode so the camera tilt is still controlled by turning the post.
